Homemade Labneh with Zaatar
Connaissez-vous le labneh ? Il s'agit d'une sorte de yaourt à mi-chemin entre le fromage blanc et le yaourt grec. Testez-le, c'est délicieux !
Do you know what labneh is? It's a type of yoghurt halfway between cottage cheese and Greek yoghurt. Try it, it's delicious !
For 4 people
Preparation Time: 15 min
Rest Time : 12 h
Ingredients :
- 500 g sheep's curd cheese
- 1 tbsp. zaatar
- 2 tbsp pistachios
- A dash of olive oil
- salt and pepper
Preparation :
Start by draining the fromage blanc in a tea towel for around 12 hours in a cool place.
Place a sieve under the cloth to catch the juice.
Then remove the cheese and mix with the salt, pepper, spices and olive oil to taste.
Finally, place the mixture in a shallow dish.
Make an indentation and add a dash of olive oil, followed by the crushed roasted pistachios.
You can eat it with a spoon or on pita bread.
