Mediterranean flora with balsamic notes. Thyme is an aromatic plant similar to wild thyme, with a stronger fragrance. It grows on sunny hillsides, with the honey flow occurring when the weather conditions are favourable, especially after rain when there is no wind. With its dry, rocky soil, Greece offers ideal conditions. The honey flow, which takes place after that of rosemary honey, gives a pleasant fragrant aroma and an odour characteristic of Mediterranean flora with balsamic notes. Much sought-after for its flavour, Albert Ménès thyme honey is unusual in being thought to have disinfectant properties. It is also known for its antiseptic effects. All these strengths contribute to making this honey an exceptional product.
Ideal for flavouring quark, thyme honey is an original alternative to sugar. It brings a floral touch to breakfast, and its aromas will remind you of the Greece sun as it melts into a cup of tea.
