The Abert Ménès Gingerbread mix is based on a traditional recipe from Alsace, dominated by the characteristic flavours of cinnamon and cloves with a hint of gingery heat. This powdered mixture makes a Christmas gingerbread easy – just add it to rye flour and honey.
As well as gingerbread, the mix is ideal for making delicious Alsatian specialities such as the famous Bredles. This blend transforms a simple black tea into a Christmas tea and adds fragrance to hot milk, jams or game.
INGREDIENTS: cassia cinnamon, whole cloves, nutmeg, pimento, mace, cadamom, ginger.
