Samoussas : Beef and oriental mix
For 4 people
Preparation time : 1 hour
Cooking time: 10 min
Ingredients
|
Preparation
Sauté the onions in oil until they're nice and soft. Add the minced beef, chopped fresh ginger, minced garlic clove, finely chopped fresh coriander, and Albert Ménès oriental mix.
Continue cooking until the beef is cooked through, then process the mixture in a blender to get a fine mince. Return to the heat with the peas and stir for about 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
When the mixture is cool, take out the filo pastry sheets. Cut them into strips about 3 to 4 cm wide. Brush a strip with previously melted butter. Place a small spoonful of filling at the base of the strip. Fold into a triangle and repeat the process for as many times as you have pastry.
Place the samosas in an oven dish or on a sheet of parchment paper. Then bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 5 minutes, until they are golden. Serve with some chutney.
