Colombo is a mixture of spices originating from the West Indies, where it is traditionally used to make the sauce dishes that bear its name. It combines the flavours of turmeric, which gives it its beautiful golden yellow colour, with coriander and cumin.
To preserve its aromas, use it in slowly simmered dishes or at the end of cooking. It can also be added to salad dressings to enhance the taste.
INGREDIENTS: cumin, turmeric, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, fenugreek, fennel, garlic, white pepper, ginger, onion. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF PEANUTS, SESAME, MUSTARD and CELERY.
